Martial Arts for Weight Loss and Fitness

Do I Need to be Fit Before I Start Martial Arts Training?

If you are considering martial arts to help you get fit and lose some weight we would like to extend a personal welcome to our academy.

One of the biggest misconceptions people have about joining a martial arts school is that they have to be already fit and active in order to do so.

At our martial arts academy in Burton, we welcome students from the age of 3 of all levels of ability and fitness.

Our team of martial arts instructors are experts, all of them having undergone rigorous training.  They will look at you as an individual and tailor your syllabus to your personal needs.

There is no military style drill, you will not be pushed beyond your limits. In fact, the opposite is true, our martial arts instructors want you to have fun and enjoy your training.

The pace you work at is yours.

Something to bear in mind, martial arts training can burn up to 900 calories an hour. Think what that would do for your weight loss plans!

So, what are you waiting for?  Contact us now to arrange a free, no obligation trial and see how martial arts can help with your weight loss plans.
